The Home is situated near the Kent holiday resort of Herne Bay and stands in 3 acres of lawns and gardens east of the town, at Beltinge. The seafront is about one mile from the Home, easily accessible by a regular bus service.
Beltinge is an ideal base for guests to visit many places of interest in the ‘Garden of England’. Canterbury with its magnificent Cathedral, Walmer and Deal Castles, the seaside resorts of Thanet and many picturesque Kentish towns and villages.

We recommend a taxi to the Home from both rail and bus stations. There is a taxi rank at the rail station but not at the bus station.
From the M25 take exit 2, signposted Canterbury. The A2 will run in to the M2. As you approach the end of the M2 (J7) take the right hand lane A299 for Margate. After 11 miles there is an exit to Herne Bay. DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT. In one mile there is an exit signed Beltinge, take this exit. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout. Go over railway bridge and take 1st turning right into Reculver Road. Then 1st turning right to Cornwallis Avenue. Our entrance is on the left.
